Crazy Garage Salers! oh I guess I am one of them :) (not so) Wordless Wednesday
This morning my friend Sarah and I were headed to Target when we got really excited over a garage sale sign. The sign said it wasn't until 4pm, so we made plans to go later. We arrived at the garage sale on this TUESDAY at 4PM on the dot. Much to our surprise to find this...
I really wish I had my regular camera, this was taken with my phone. The whole thing is, this is only about 1/4 of the amount of cars there, there were cars to my left and cars behind me. There was at least 100 cars at this garage sale just when it opened!!!! I am sorry if I sound like a crazy lunatic, but I could not believe my eyes! Recession? What Recession?

22 months
Wait? That means in 2 months he is going to be... gulp. oh my.My favorite out of this set is the first one and I also like his pretend sleep face.
This is the part where I tell you what's new with him and the things he is doing, but really, what isn't he doing?
- He is all over the place and wanting everything.
- He loves to play with his cars
- He is turning into kind of a picky eater, which I hate because I always thought that would be the other parents who had picky kid eaters, not me. He loves hot dogs. eek.
- He can count to 6, minus 2 most of the time.
- He can repeat the abc's after I say the letters.
- He is saying a lot of words, he mostly says single words. Only a few double words. If I want him to attempt a new word I have to ask him to yell it. Which he then normally does.
- He has some pretty fancy dance moves.
- He LOVES to be outside, I think if he had it his way we would all probably be living outside.
- He is just a fun, happy, energetic kid!!! Good golly I love him!

poor baby boo-boo
Battle wounds are what make boys, boys right? Or maybe a hysterical mother who immediately drives them to hospital is what makes them boys? The last one is probably it!James somehow accomplished falling off of a chair backwards and landing on concrete on the back of his head. I don't ask questions so I have no idea how he busted his chin open. He had a Graham cracker in is hand? That's one of my possible reasons. Damn sharp crackers! He received the dermabond for his chin (liquid stitches) and they checked his noggin out and that was OK, that was my biggest concern. It looks kind of soggy in this picture, it was an actual deep cut when it happened.
I am actually contemplating my moms idea of just spending the rest of mine and James' life not leaving our couch and wearing helmets at all times.

Easter Fun
On Tuesday I took James along with my friends Sarah and her little guy Rowan to my annual Easter party (for pics from last year click here, wow what a difference a year makes). It was pretty fun.

I am sure James didn't know what the heck we were doing. He watched me boil the eggs, cool them, get the colors ready, put a large t-shirt on him, let him put the eggs in the color, take them out, let them dry a little, crack them, take the shells off, mash them in a bowl, add some mayo and stuff, put them on bread, then hand him the sandwich, while the whole time I am taking pictures. I am sure he thought that was a lot of rigamaroll just to make lunch. :)

James with the Easter bunny, This is a picture I took of the picture they gave me since my scanner is dumb:

James and Rowan have a good time checking out the animals at the little petting zoo.
Watching an Easter movie while coloring and eating cookie. Life is good :)

James checking out a different Easter bunny:

This morning we colored some Easter eggs.
