summer summer summer

I am a little slow, but these are pics from last week. Last Thursday, we went over to my friend Tiff's house to play in the sun a bit.
James and Kylee playin in the pool.

This is Lucy. I could very well eat her to pieces. She is Tiffany's sister Amber's friend Gina's little girl. Did you follow?

Then on Friday we headed down to my grandma's house for some pool time. It was nice!
My cousins Jasper, Ivy, Roxanne (James and I) and Violet

We had a little swimming friend

sweeties and doctors apts

These two are so sweet together. Ahhh I could just eat them up!
On Monday James and I both went in for a doc apt. Him for his 2 year well check up and me for my second prenatal visit.
James stats:
Weight- 26.4lbs (35th percentile)
Height- 35 inches (75th percentile)
Tall and skinny, don't mind me any. At least I don't have to worry about childhood obesity! :) I know he eats, he is just extremely active. He looks good in all other aspects too.
My stats:
Weight- ha ha ha Yeah right
Baby's heart rate- 170 bpm! Wow, definitely higher than James' ever was. His was always in the 140-150 range!
Everything is going well with the pregnancy so far, everything is looking good.

Wild Mountain

Originally, the plans for today consisted of going to the Minnesota Zoo with a few of James' closes buddies to celebrate his birthday. The last 2 days have been WELL above 90, tropical dew points and high humidity. Needless to say, we all thought it was going to be a tad too warm to be walking around in the beating sun at the zoo. The celebrations seem to be split, today Sarah's idea was to go to Wild Mountain. Wild Mountain is a fun little water park (in the summer, in the winter it is a ski resort). It is only about 8 miles from my house and this was James' first time going there. He and Rowan thoroughly enjoyed it! Tomorrow we will be hanging out with some of James' other super cute buddies!

Getting a little excited before getting wet.
This is a newer part of Wild Mountain for kids. The frog slide is to the right. There is a big Lazy River that borders this area, that was my favorite part :) The big slides are not very close to this part.

Rowan going down the frog slide.

And James going down

My sweet shivering punkin eating chips and people watching

Happy Happy boys!

Having SO much fun!

I didn't really take any pics of the older kids/adult water slides. I took James down one with me and he didn't like it too much. It was that enjoyable for me either. We were in a tube and he was on my lap, his head kept hitting me in the head and he kept getting water in his face. Poor kid. I think he had a bad first impression because Rowan seemed to love it and went down it at least 3 times. After that experience, for some reason James wouldn't go down the frog slide anymore. The big slide was THAT devastating! LOL!

Sweet Ro Ro!

This picture was especially taken for my dad. Dad, I thought of you the whole time I was eating these. I miss you! A Wild Mountain favorite of ours.

Happy Father's Day!!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DAD!!!! I love you and miss you so much! I feel like kind of a dumb ass for not wishing you a good one yesterday when I talked to you! I hope you have a fantabulous day! We can't wait to see you in August!

This is what James looked like the last time he saw his Pappy! It's been a while :)

Also, A big Happy Father's day to James' dad!! I love you!

Wowy Wowy! James is 2!

To think he looked like this one day. To me it feels like yesterday.
Happy Birthday little man!! Yay you are two! Getting so old :) Today we didn't do much, hung out around the house. We have a little somethin somethin scheduled for this week to celebrate. James' G-ma (Caleb's mom) took him to the store to pick out his present, which was a remote control car. Other than that we had pizza, wings, and cupcakes for dinner, Nice mellow day.

This is a present from his maama (my mom) I do think he sat in this thing for the majority of the day. I have fun stories about putting this beast together last night, but I will save that for another day!

James LOVES pickles, I got him some today at the store. Let's just say I think he had one too many. Poor punkin had the runs a little bit, all over the couch. As I am typing this Caleb is giving him a bath from this little mishap. Mom, you called it!

My sister can contest that pickles and frosting don't mix. This may have been another cause for his tum tum ache!

He knew exactly what to do. He kept yelling, "Birthday! Birthday! Birthday!"

I think he loved his birthday!

We Love You James!!! SOOOOOOOOO Much!

James vs Corn on the Cob

James had corn on the cob for the first time last night. He did really good, especially since my expectations were that he was going to try to eat the cob core part. Nope. He ate only what you are supposed to! He thought it was pretty cool.

I didn't eat much of the meal due to the fact I was, and still am recovering from a bad case of food poisoning from the weekend. Ugh. I seriously would rather have given birth naturally 3 times on Friday night than go through what I went through. I thought I was dying. I am still alive and kicking so that's a good sign. On the upside of things, since being terrified for my unborn child's safety, I went into the clinic on Saturday morn. I heard the pip squeak's heart beat. 160 bpm. A little higher than James' ever was. I am going in for another prenatal visit sometime this week so I will update then. We will also be making a visit to the docs for James 2 year well visit!

Great Grandparents

My Grandma and Grandpa made the 1+ hours trip up to see us today. They brought James a semi truck and tractor for his birthday, which is in FIVE days! He loved the gift and we both loved spending time with them. Unfortunately, this is the only picture I took from today. I meant to bring my camera out to eat with us, but forgot it. It was a really nice visit!

Tha Zooizle...What up?

Tiff and I took the girls and James to the Como Zoo today. It was kind of gloomy, cool day, so we figured it would be quiet with no one there. Apparently, everyone else thought that too :) We had fun anyway! Thank you Tiffany for driving AGAIN! Get ready for lots of pics!

COTTON CANDY IS YUMMY!!

3 cheers for cotton candy!!

Hip Hip Horrah!

This was the point where James was not allowed out of his stroller. I don't really blame him, but he didn't want to be in it. I did, however. He threw a big tantrum when I put him back in his stroller the first time and quite frankly I didn't want to relive the moment. Sorry punkin!

Roar!

Kenz and James looking at the lions.

Kenz, Tiff, and Kylee. Good gravy wonder where the good looks come from in those precious girly girls?

Miss Kenzie

Sparky! It's amazing how old this sea lion must be. I saw him when I was a peanut and so did my mom! :) There was this really really old sea lion in a different tank and I was thinking that it's possible that was my sparky. Who knows. Sorry mom, but it probably isn't yours :)

Parky Parky as James yelled for him.
