James' birthday party!

On Saturday we had a little birthday shindig for Mr. Jimmy Jam. I think he really enjoyed it. He had most of his little friends and some family come to help celebrate.

Here is James having his turn at pin the tail on the donkey. Notice that all of the tails are right on? James was the 2nd to last to go. Apparently, the blind fold was see-through and each and every little one lied and said they couldn't see. Except little Rowan, he was the only honest one and actually closed his eyes. If there was a prize, he would have got it for not cheating!

My baby is 3!

He is getting too big! Seriously! My baby turned 3 yesterday. Makes my heart sink a little just typing it. HE has grown into quite the little guy. Very friendly, smart, funny and can be quite the stinker sometimes! Happy Birthday to my sweet baby boy!

Roxanne

A few weeks back now, my cousin Roxanne came up to say with us for a couple days. It was really nice to see her and get to spend some time with her. One of the days she was here we went to the beach for a little swimming/picnic action. It was Ada's first time in the water and in a swimsuit. I am not really sure what she thought about it though.

3 years ago today...

This morning, I woke up from a dream where I was going into labor. I thought to myself about how that was a funny dream to have. Then I was thinking about it. Today, 3 years ago, is the day I went into the hospital to start the induction process to have my sweet baby boy James. Not sure where the time has gone.

but....but...

she is just too little. She is still my teeny tiny newborn right? She can't sit yet!?! And 2 teeth? I will not have it. I NEED that gummy smile for as long as I can have it.

I found not one, but two teeth this morning. It looks like the one on the left probably came through yesterday and the one next to it (which you can't really see) today.

Bayfield Memorial weekend

For Memorial weekend, we headed up north to Bayfield, WI. It was Ada's first time at Lake Superior! I just love going up there, it is such a nice place for a mini vacation, close to home, but not too close. It is always fun for James too, as he gets spoiled rotten. As my family always said: You can eat whatever you want to when you are on vacation!

It is about a 3-3.5 hour drive and this is what you see the majority of the ride.
