Sud heads

Ada has been able to sit pretty sturdy for some time now. I decided to try to put her in the tub with James...like a big girl. She loves it so much. Kicking and splashing those little chunker thighs in the water.

Silly snorty face

One day Ada just started making this really silly face. The first time I saw it it kind of scared me, not gonna lie. HA! I thought she had turned into an evil baby and was going to attack me. Those are my weird thoughts though. Sometimes when I go into James' room at night to check on him before I go to bed I imagine him sitting straight up and his head spinning or something else crazy. My babies are such little angel babies, these are just my crazy, off the wall, insane thoughts. Don't mind me! ANYWAY, Sometimes some snorty nose sounds accompany the face. There is a nice pic of James thrown in the mix too.

Ada Update

Ada is the one I really need to be updating about since she is doing so much new stuff. I couldn't have asked for a more sweet, silly, content, laid back, and all around really good baby. She just recently started making this really silly smile...a little snorty smile. I will get it in a picture and put it on here as soon as I can.

She still isn't crawling, but I think one of the reasons is that she is so content just sitting on the floor playing with toys, she doesn't need to move around a lot. If she does want to get somewhere she rolls there. She loves to stand holding on to someones fingers. She has pulled herself up, but doesn't do it regularly.

She can clap, give kisses, grab for people, dance when there is music, and is starting to do a little wave. She loves to eat baby food, and is really interested in normal "adult" food.

She LOVES her brother so much and the feeling are so obviously returned. They will just lay on the floor and hug and cuddle. She loves to watch him play. She is just so sticking cute and sweet, such a little love bug.

I meant to post this picture the other day. Four generations!

James update

Thought it would be nice to give a little update about Mr. James Henry!
He is getting too big! Where did my baby boy go? I am really enjoying this age though since he can communicate so much better. It is fun and a lot of the time really funny to hear what he has to say.

He is very independent and likes to do everything himself. He still loves playing with cars and anything else with wheels. He has been getting a little bit more shy around people he doesn't know.

He is going to be starting school in the beginning of September!! I can't believe it AT ALL!!! I am really hoping he likes it. He is really excited to get a new backpack for school. He says he wants a red McQueen one. That is what he shall get!

Say What!?

I am a crappy blogger and photographer to my family and friends. This past week was spent with lots of friends and family. Guess what gang? Pretty sure I took about 5 pictures the whole time. I am sitting here kicking myself...what the heck is my problem? The pictures I am posting were mostly taken by Auntie JJ and Grampy McP. So kuddos to you guys for capturing something from the last week! Good grief! I have had numerous family get-togethers, a wedding, a shower, and lots of other fabulous photo opportunities. FAIL! I get a big FAT FAIL!!! Aside from my failure, I will fill you in on what this last week was all about.

My dad and Vicki came into town and finally met Ada! We went to a little BBQ at Vicki's parent's house. And just to mention, on this particular day, I am pretty sure it was about 150 degrees with and humidity of 1000. I may be exaggerating just a tad. Needless to say, it was FREAKING HOT!

My pops and I. This blog post will probably be the most you will ever see of me since I was hardly ever behind the camera. I suck.

Oh, and Caleb and I finally got hitched :) We had a little ceremony and dinner on 8/9/10!

My mom, Bruce, and I went out to the Mall of America and took James on some rides. He really liked them! We also went to Ikea after, but I don't want to talk about it. Right Bruce? :)

The whole week was great, fun, special, full of love, and more, that words can't explain. I sit here all alone (with my kids of course). It feels very weird since I have been surrounded by people for so long. Everyone is DEEPLY missed already. What I am basically saying is: TO ALL OF YOU WHO I LOVE SO MUCH AND ALL LIVE OUT OF STATE: THE GREAT STATE OF MINNESOTA IS CALLING YOUR NAME. IT IS TIME TO CONSIDER MOVING. YOUR KIDS, GRAND KIDS, NIECE AND NEPHEW, SISTER AND NEWLY BROTHER MISS YOU ALL VERY MUCH AND WANT YOU MORE IN THEIR LIVES!!! No guilt trip here at all :)
