I am sure I'm not the first person to do this, but I thought I would post it anyway. I have recently started giving James peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch and he seemed to really like them. The only problem was that he would tear the two pieces of bread apart and just pick at the insides. So I put my creative thinking cap on and created these puppies. Take one piece of bread with no crusts, put peanut butter on one side and jelly on the other, fold it in half and pinch the sides (or use a fork to make it pretty). Easy as that and James doesn't try to get into them...yet.

That's very creative! Good thinking! :) It's too bad Hailey doesn't like PB&J sandwiches, because if she did, I would probably try this out.
That's really cool..makes me wanna eat them too...hehe
that is such a cool idea. DJ destroys his pb&j's, so i might have to try that!
It's a neat idea, I might use for the girls someday.
Soren is not getting PB yet, the ped said to wait with until he is 2.
That's a wonderful idea! I have the problem with Liam pulling his sandwiches apart as well. Now I can't wait for our next lunch time!
What a great idea!
You can bet these will find their way on to my granddaughter's lunch menu very soon.
I'm also thinking I might be able to entice her to try other sandwich fillings too? Like maybe egg salad?
We'll see how it goes...
You are so smart Bridget!
That is so cool!
