What's a gal to do when...

her purse falls apart, and she doesn't have any money to buy a new one? Well, make one of course! I pretty much suck at the sewing machine. I wish I was better, so this, by no means is any sort of perfect. It works for me though!

I am the type of person who loves crafts and crafty things, but needs instant satisfaction. I don't want to spend more than one day on a project. This took me one of James' nap times. I still feel like it needs something more, but I don't know what. Any ideas?

Wow, I really like that material!

I don't know if it needs anything...but then again my style is very simple, so that might just be me.

Buttons. A single (or small cluster) of decorative plastic buttons, preferably shaped like flowers or animals.

OR.

Buy a funky fabric flower and attach a pin if it doesn't already have one... that way you can remove it if you want to change it up or just go plain.

Either way, great job on the sewing! I am afraid of my machine.

I actually got out my buttons and thought of a broach or something. I just don't know where or how!? I thought of beads too, hmmmm I don't know. Keep the ideas coming and if I do change it up I will put a new pic on.
